Caviaaaaar..... Yum! Letter #38

Letter #38

September 5, 2016

Hello!

That title is actually a lie. I know I shouldnt lie on my mission (or ever) but, you are probably laughing right now, so thats okay. Actually, even if you don't laugh that's fine.

So yes, I did try caviar this week. It was my fault, a member invited us into her kitchen to feed us plov, and it was on the table, and so I commented on it. the next thing I know, she hands me some bread (and my poor companion) with caviar on it. It wasn't too bad, very salty. But, i wont bee seeking it out again.

This week was a strange combination of crazy busy and 8 hours of looking for less active memebrs. It was interesting. We found one home that was abandoned long ago, due to the fact of being burnt out. It looked pretty neat.

We have been getting lots of requests to help with english! It's very exciting :) English is something I (used) to be good at!

Sunday was very fun. We ran all over the city. We left home at 9:30 am, and got back home and 9:30 pm. Thank goodness for break the fast granola bars! ;) Also, we had a dinner appointment, so that helped too.

This week our dear A left for America! They are tentatively planning on having the wedding in 3 weeks, and then the clock starts counting down to next year when we can go to the temple sealing in Utah! So excited and grateful :)

We also got to see a ballet this week! It was so neat! We were helping a member tranport her kids there, and then ushers asked if we wanted to join and watch because they had ltos of empty seats :) It was really fun! Some cute 1 hour musical about cinderella.

Today we got to go see the Petergof Fountains! It was so sweet! I'll add pictures :) President just started allowing people to go there on Preperation day this transfer.

On Sunday we got to help teach relief society. We started a class a few weeks ago about Preach My Gospel to help the members share the gospel with their friends, its going well. Anyway, the RS president asked us to teach part of the lesson the way we do the class. So we did role plays with the sisters and it was wonderful. the members here have so much fire to share the gospel, and I feel so blessed to get to watch :) Avtovo is such an amazing ward.

Which brings me to transfer calls... Which are this friday! Weird that the transfer has already gone by. I've been serving in Avtovo the past 4 transfers, or six months, so I am worried about getting transferred. it would be hard to leave, I just love it hear!

Anyways, I hope you all have agreat week! Love and miss you all!
